The Project
A Passaic County nor'easter dropped a 60-foot oak through the back half of this Clifton split-level. The homeowners called us at 11 PM during the storm. We had a crew on-site with a heavy-duty tarp and ridge anchor by 12:45 AM, sealing the open roof against ongoing rain before any meaningful interior damage spread.
Over the following 24 hours we documented every angle of damage with drone photography and ground-level photos for the insurance claim. The owners' carrier approved a full structural replacement: new rafters in the impact zone, full CDX decking replacement on the back slope, complete tear-off of the surviving front slope, ice-and-water shield, synthetic underlayment, and a new GAF Timberline HDZ Charcoal architectural shingle roof matching the front of the home.
Three weeks from the night of the storm to final municipal inspection — and zero out-of-pocket cost to the homeowner beyond their deductible.
