The Project
The original 1990s vinyl siding on this Paramus colonial had warped, faded, and detached from the house in several places. Old half-round gutters were undersized for the roof's drainage area, and the soffit was visibly rotting along the front gable. The homeowners wanted a single contractor to handle the full exterior refresh — siding, gutters, and trim — so the work would be coordinated, color-matched, and warranted by one installer.
We specced James Hardie HardiePlank lap siding in slate gray, paired with new white James Hardie HardieTrim around windows, doors, and corners. Seamless 6-inch K-style aluminum gutters were formed on-site with new oversized 3"×4" downspouts to handle the actual drainage load. All soffit and fascia were replaced with vented aluminum to improve attic airflow.
The full exterior was completed in nine working days. The HardiePlank carries a 30-year non-prorated finish warranty plus our 10-year workmanship guarantee on installation.
